Characters

•  Cooper (played by Matthew McConaughey): A former pilot and engineer who becomes a farmer due to the scarcity of resources on Earth. He is recruited to lead a space mission in search of a new home for humanity.

• Murph (played by Jessica Chastain and Mackenzie Foy): Cooper's daughter, who is extremely intelligent and has a deep interest in science. His relationship with his father and his search for scientific answers are important elements of the plot.

• Dr. Brand (played by Michael Caine): A brilliant scientist who leads the space mission project. He is Cooper's mentor and has an optimistic view on the future of humanity.

• Amelia Brand (played by Anne Hathaway): Dr. Brand's daughter and one of the astronauts on the mission. She is a talented scientist with a firm belief in love as a universal force.

• TARS (voiced by Bill Irwin): A rectangular-shaped and extremely versatile robot, designed to assist the crew in their mission. He is intelligent, loyal and capable of adapting to various situations.

• CASE (voiced by Josh Stewart): Another mission robot, similar to TARS in function but with a slightly different personality. He is also loyal and highly competent in his job.
